Intense red Uzbek silk on silk Ikat hanging from Bukhara dating from the early 19th century. It is silk warp and silk weft Abr Ikat with a lovely sheen on the surface. 
It is unlined, it originally did have a backing, but its in perfect condition and as vibrant now as it ever was. 
It is made up of narrow long panels joined together with hand stitch.
