A fine silver antique anklet from Rajasthan which Ive repurposed as a necklace. The little pendants are mango shapes which are auspicious talismans. It is a lovely chunky piece which works beautifully as a necklace.
This closely resembles the childs anklets in the prestigious Ghysels Collection of ethnic jewels in Brussels mentioned in Oppi Untracht's 'Traditional Jewellery of India'.
