A rare item. This was origininally one of a pair of anklets for dancers in a famous traditional dance. It has a wonderful silky worn feel to it and it shines almost golden. It is a beautiful object in its own right and has a magical gentle tinkly sound as there are small balls which run around its interior. 19th century.
