Antique Phurba length 34cm or 13 1/2ins
If anything comes close to what we in the West would call a magic wand it would be the phurba used in the Shamanistic-buddhistic traditions in Nepal and Tibet.  It functions in Buddhist practice as an aperture between physical reality, the illusory world, and the "real" world which lies behind.
I think this one may have started life as a drum handle for the shamanic drum and then repurposed as a ritual dagger. Both objects are highly revered. The top is very smooth though. There are remains of libations and the wood has an amazing patina so it is quite an early one.
