These old silver telsums are getting harder to find and here is a nice old one, strung on a black cotton cord with other silver beads.
The 12 telsums are 825 coin silver and they would have been collected and worn by a bride during a wedding.
Telsums(charms) are protective charms as part of the brides dowry, given by the groom to the bride during the engagement ceremony.
Bead to bead is 30 cms - The black cord ties behind and measures in total 70cms.
