A graduated strand of African phenolic amber beads, made in the late 19th or early 20th century by the Bakelite process. These have become collectors items. There is a selection of bead shapes here, round, diamond cross drilled and smaller beads.
The largest is 4 cms across.
42 beads in al. One of the medium sized cross drilled beads has a chip but the rest are in great condition. Ready to be worn as is or to be used in a jewellery project.
