Beautiful collectable multistrand glass bead necklace from Nagaland in India. Length 26ins/66cms These necklaces were worn almost daily by all goups. The beads were imported from France and highly prized.  The clasp is a rupee from 1960.
In previous centuries the Naga were headhunters.
